Directions:

From Kristiansand: Drive west towards Mandal/Stavanger on E39. When you get to Søgne, turn left towards Tangvall and Høllen. Follow the signs to Høllen.

From Stavanger: Drive on E39 towards Kristiansand. When you get to Søgne, turn right towards Tangvall and Høllen. Follow the signs to Høllen.

Ferry from Høllen to the Verftet

The ferry from Høllen to the Verftet is served by the boat Hannibal.

NB: Signal to the boat for boarding at Verftet.

Timetable july 5- aug 5:

Monday - Saturday:

From Høllen: 0935, 1105, 1235, 1435, 1635, 1905

From Verftet: 0955, 1125, 1320,1455, 1720, 1925

Sunday:

From Høllen: 0935, 1050, 1235, 1445, 1635, 1005

From Verftet: 0955, 1110, 1320, 1505, 1720, 1925

Grocery stores

There is a grocery store at Høllen pier, Nærbutikken, which is open every day from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. You will find a Bunnpris a little further up the street while there are a number of supermarkets at Tangvall.

There are no stores at Verftet.

Restaurants and takeaway

There is a cafe at Verftet, and in Høllen you will find the Skagen Cafe on the second floor above the grocery store. Closer to the beach you will find Bay Wok, which is a takeaway cart serving Thai food. At the grocery store they sell hot dogs, hamburgers and they have their own ice cream parlor.

Boat rental
